Nurturing young potential – “Jeevan Disha” at Erattayal Anganwadi
The Oleevia Foundation extended its impactful Jeevan Disha sessions to Erattayal Anganwadi, engaging a vibrant group of children in life skill education. The session led by Mr. Gautam Ramakrishnan, Chief Project Manager and Psychologist, the first session served as a lively introduction to the world of life skills. Through interactive games and energizers, the children began discovering their inner strengths while building group bonds and self-awareness in a supportive environment. The second session spotlighted communication as a vital life skill. Children were encouraged to express themselves through story-telling, team challenges, and fun language games. The session, expertly guided by the psychologist, helped them understand the power of listening, body language, and clear expression. It laid the groundwork for healthy peer relationships, personal confidence, and empathy—skills essential for success in both school and life.
With infectious energy and warmth, Project Coordinator Sreeja brought the sessions to life. Her creative activities—ranging from circle time talks to interactive role plays—kept the children actively engaged and eager to participate. By blending structured learning with play, she transformed complex concepts into meaningful experiences. The children responded with joy, curiosity, and openness—proving that learning thrives in an environment of love and understanding.
As part of Oleevia Foundation’s Sashakt Bachpan Project and Gyaan Initiative, the Jeevan Disha session at Erattayal reflects the Foundation’s deep commitment to inclusive, grassroots development. By nurturing life skills from an early age, we empower children to navigate life with clarity, courage, and compassion. These sessions are not just lessons—they are stepping stones toward creating a more emotionally intelligent, socially aware, and future-ready generation.
