Jeevan Disha – Shaping young lives at Chemballodu Anganwadi

At Chemballodu Anganwadi, the Oleevia Foundation brought another impactful chapter of Jeevan Disha to life, engaging children in a joyful and meaningful learning experience. The first session, led by the foundation’s Chief Project Manager and Psychologist, Mr. Gautam Ramakrishnan, focused on helping children explore the concept of life skills through interactive games and reflective conversations. It encouraged curiosity, confidence, and teamwork among the young participants.
The second session spotlighted communication, not just as a skill, but as a bridge to relationships and self-expression. Through fun-filled activities like storytelling, gestures-based games, and dialogue practice, children were gently guided to express themselves openly and listen with attention. These moments helped develop their voice, presence, and clarity—fostering essential social abilities in an age-appropriate and engaging way. With a unique ability to connect with children, Project Coordinator Sreeja enriched the sessions with her creative flair and warmth. Each activity was thoughtfully chosen to ensure active involvement and joy in learning.
The Jeevan Disha session at Anganwadi is part of Oleevia Foundation’s broader mission through the Sashakt Bachpan Project and the Gyaan Initiative, which focuses on empowering children through early intervention and skill-based learning. We believe that true education goes beyond textbooks—it lies in nurturing emotional intelligence, social awareness, and self-belief. By bringing life skill education to Anganwadis, we are sowing the seeds of personal growth in the most formative years. These grassroots efforts ensure that children, regardless of background, receive equal opportunities to build essential skills for life.
