Guiding futures at Edappally Government High School
Oleevia Foundation, under its Shashakt Bachpan and Gyaan Initiative, organized a career development programme for Class 12 students at Edappally Government High School. The session, guided by Krishnakumar K T, CMD, Oleevia Group, aimed to help students understand career opportunities in higher studies, professional courses, and vocational training. The initiative emphasized the importance of early preparation, clarity in decision-making, and confidence in exploring both traditional and emerging career pathways.
The programme began with an introductory address by Mr. Raneesh Rahman, Vice President of Jnan Institute of Bharat (JIB),who highlighted the purpose of the initiative and its relevance in today’s fast-changing world. Following this, the class was conducted by Ms. Raisya, Educator with JIB, who engaged students in an interactive session covering career mapping, aptitude-based decision-making, and the role of practical skills. The session helped students understand the importance of building a strong personal profile, time management,and preparing systematically for higher education. Focus was also given to overcoming fear, handling social pressures,and developing a growth mindset for career success.
The event was conducted in collaboration with Malayala Manorama,the Inner Wheel Club of Rotary Global Cochin, and Jnan Institute of Bharat, bringing together expertise and resources for maximum impact. Students were provided with action-oriented guides on scholarships, admissions, and skill-building platforms. Teachers and parents were encouraged to play an active role in supporting decision-making. Oleevia Foundation plans to extend suh sessions across more schools in Kerala, creating structured pathways for students to dream, plan, and achieve. With continued vision and guidance from Krishnakumar K T, CMD, Oleevia Group, the Shashakt Bachpan and Gyaan Initiative is set to empower the next generation with clarity, confidence, and purpose in their career journeys.
